Hello neighbor 2 quentin8/26/2023 When you prank call them, move back and wait for them to run outside to receive the phone. Once you have it, head back down to the neighbor's house to prank call the phone found outside their house. You should see it nicely tucked away in a sink up on the roof. PhoneĬlimb up the side of the building, holding the phone. One of the hidden secrets you’ll find is a mobile phone. Plus, you can zoom in and out for a better view. The camera shows every fine detail you wouldn’t otherwise see. Once you get to the top, you should see a bird's nest that holds within it a hidden camera.Īll your hard work pays off when you use the camera to scope out the area around you. Look for a pipe at the back of the building and scale nicely around it. Once you spot it, stretch out your legs because you’ll need some strenuous platforming to climb it. This is the same house players would climb to get to the final ending. So how do you get one? Well, when exploring the Golden Apple Park, or what’s left of it, you should come across a familiar-looking building from the Hello Guest Alpha. Sometimes, these secrets are best discovered with the power of a high-lens camera. If there’s one thing Hello Neighbor 2 has, it's tons of secrets to uncover. The second is actually a clue to one of the first puzzles of the game. The first is the “animated pilot” Easter egg. Don’t worry about the TV alerting the guard or policeman to your presence. So, where do you find this Easter egg? Well, you should see a TV set in the first house you’re asked to investigate. Clearly, the developers may have something in mind, or it could just be a mere moment of reminiscing. Also, one that brings back a TV show we thought was done for. Toward the end of it, you see the words, “Premieres December 8 watch within Hello Neighbor 2 ,” which, however subtle, references the actual release date for the official game. They also created a cartoon adaptation featuring a long opening set to music from the 1980s and a narrative aspect that doesn’t really enrich the game itself. So, the developers squeezed the footage into a few minutes worth of playtime. Of course, the pilot itself is quite long. Although it was canceled, the pilot did make its way to Hello Neighbor 2. So, a few years ago, there was supposed to be a Hello Neighbor TV show. Perhaps the Vandals met their fate? Foul play was involved? Who knows? 4. It gets even weirder when you start to see a pile of the Vandals’ shoes lying haphazardly all around the park. The mask can be seen inside a rundown shack with police tape wrapped outside it. For instance, you can see one vandal trapped inside one of the two cable cars.Īnother shows up as just a mask. However, their appearances are in the oddest forms, and they play less significant roles now. I went into Hello Neighbor 2 feeling like those delinquent kids in Don’t Breathe but instead felt like I was visiting Pee-Wee’s Playhouse, which is an insult to Pee-Wee himself. It’s hard to forget the Vandals from Hello Guest, given that they make an appearance in Hello Neighbor 2 as well. I honestly believe if the developers tinyBuild and Eerie Guest focused on a puzzle game that doesn’t rely on the AI of the “Neighbors,” they would have a way more successful game. The game’s only saving grace is the puzzle-solving, which was a ton of fun. Once you realize this is possible, it will make the game less frustrating but unsatisfying. The stealth horror aspect fell flat, and I had more fun just free roaming at will and abusing the AI-controlled Neighbors, sometimes to a glitchy death. There were so many bugs that it broke my immersion, and I was just worried about running into more bugs, which became an exhausting experience. I wanted to enjoy this game, and it kept telling me it would be okay, but deep down, I knew it was not. The featured image in this review was taken from one of the in-game cutscenes, which sums up my experience with Hello Neighbor 2.
